Ken Akamatsu is famous for the Negima Manga! Magister Negi Magi, serialized in Kodansha's Weekly Shonen Magazine from 2003 to 2012. A long-lived, 38-volume manga that has also gained a following in recent years. In fact, the same mangaka started the manga in 2013 in the same magazine UQ BRACKET.

12 years after Negima ended, UQ Holder quickly became another Kodansha hit. Over the course of his life, the manga received a 12-episode animated adaptation entitled UQ Owner!: Mahou Sensei Negima! 2, to which an OAV was then added. He then moved from Weekly Shonen Magazine to Bessatsu Shonen Magazine, the same magazine as The Attack of the Giants, and continued publishing monthly.

However, number 06 of the magazine released in Japan these days showed it UQ Holder will conclude in nine chapters. Given the monthly frequency and if there are no unexpected stops, UQ Holder will end in February 2022. Currently, the chapters are grouped into 26 volumes, the last of which will be published in Japan on July 9, 2021. and two more may be missing.

Another series in Bessatsu Shonen Magazine is coming to an end after that of The Attack of the Giants and that has certainly been a cornerstone of the past five years.
