TsureKano, the series of light novels by Rei Kusakabe, also known by the American title My stepsister is my ex-girlfriendShe will soon receive an anime adaptation, announced the Kadokawa publishing house. Details about the project are not yet known, but the announcement suggests a release in the course of 2022.

TsurKano is a romantic comedy by Rei Kusakabe, consisting of 7 volumes, which were distributed from August 2017 to summer 2022. The work had some success in Japan with 500,000 printed copies and the publisher started a manga adaptation in December 2019, which is currently running with 3 volumes available. More details about the anime will be announced in the next few months.

In case you are unfamiliar with the work, Kadokawa's summary is below: "Mizuto Irido and Yume Ayai are two middle school students who meet after a confession. However, as the months went on, the two began to argue more and more, and they split up before high school started. Some time later, when they start high school, the two boys' parents come together, making the two half-brother and half-sister. How are the two going to deal with the situation? Will they keep hating each other? Or will they feel more and more drawn to each other under one roof? This is where the fun adventure of two students begins!".
