Transformers: War for the Cybertron Trilogy - Earthrise, the second part of Netflix's CGI anime, will debut on December 30, 2020, as the new official teaser revealed moments ago. The first part of the anime "Siege" premiered last July and consists of six episodes, while the last part "Kingdom" will be released in the course of 2021.

The official recap of the second season is described by Netflix as follows: "After the Allspark disappears, Megatron has to face the harsh reality: his Decepticons are trapped on a dying Cybertron. Meanwhile, Optimus Prime and his team embark on a desperate mission in the darkest rooms of space and unexpectedly encounter mercenaries traveling into space.".

Siege, the first installment in the series, is available in the streaming giant's catalog and has received generally positive reviews. Six more episodes of 22 minutes each will be released on December 30th, written by FJ DeSanto and produced by Polygon Pictures (Ajin, Human Lost) and Allspark Animation. This is a great opportunity for Netflix to revive the Transformers brand.
