Moments ago, the first official trailer for Tokyo Revengers’ anime adaptation, Ken Wakui’s award-winning Shonen Manga, was shown. The teaser confirms that the production of the anime is in the hands of the guys at Liden Films, the berserk study and that The series is set to be released next April.
First the staff sees the director Koichi Hatsumi (Berserker: The Golden Age, Blue Exorcist: Kyoto Saga, Deadman Wonderland) towards e Yasuyuki Muto (Basilisk, Deadman Wonderland) in charge of the script. The anime will be a 1: 1 adaptation of the Wakui manga, which is currently still running with 20 volumes published.
