Among the big anime news of 2022 there is The Yakuza’s Guide to Babysitting, comedy adapting Tsukiya’s manga. With regard to the release planned for this year, the series was advertised with a first teaser trailer in which the audience gets to know the protagonists.

On the official website of the television adaptation of The Yakuza’s Guide to Babysitting, a promotional video which highlights the two main characters, gangster Toru Kirishima and little Yaeka Sakuragi, voiced by Yoshimasa Hosoya and Misaki Watada, respectively.

Tsukiya’s manga series tells the story of Kirishima, a yakuza who has earned the title “Sakuragi’s Demon” for his ferocity. To keep him in check, his boss entrusts him with a mission that is as simple as it is complex. Babysitting her little girl. At the side of his boss’s daughter, the man will breathe life into tragicomic situations.

To direct the anime series at which Animation studios GAINA and feels, it’s Itsuro Kawasaki. Keiichiro Ochi is credited as screenwriter, Hiromi Ogata as character designer. Composing the music is Takuro Iga.
