A leak from a renowned Japanese leaker confirmed that the second half of the fourth season of the anime adaptation of the manga written and illustrated by Heruichi Furudate, Haikyuu !!, titled Haikyuu !! To The Top, will be released in the month of October this year.
This second part was slated to premiere this month, however, due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on production, it had been delayed indefinitely.
For its part, the first half of the anime premiered on January 10 and had a total of thirteen episodes. Haruichi Furudate publishes the manga in the magazine Weekly Shonen Jump from the publisher Shueisha since February 2012, and to date, a total of 43 compilation volumes have been published. The play has inspired several anime adaptations released in April 2014, October 2015, and October 2016.
