On the official site for the anime adaptation of the manga, written and illustrated by Gido Amagakure, A galaxy next door (Otonari ni Ginga) the third promotional video for the project was unveiled. The video confirms that The premiere is scheduled for April 8 in Japan.and shows a fragment of the closing theme entitled "Near Stella" performed by Yuu Wakui.

New voice cast members were also announced, including:

  • Hiroko Kiso as Miyako Goshiki, Shiori's mother.
  • Shinji Nagano as Ken Goshiki, Shiori's father.
  • Satomi Kobayashi as Fumi Goshiki, Shiori's grandmother.

Amagakure started publishing the manga in the magazine Good! Afternoon from the publisher kodansha in April 2020. He also wrote the manga Amaama to Inazuma (Cutie & Flash), which was published in the same magazine between 2013 and 2018, with a total of twelve compiled volumes and an anime adaptation published in July 2016.
