The second season of The Promised Neverland already smells like the finale despite its start in January 2021. In fact, only 11 episodes are planned for this season, and as a result, after the recap of The Promised Neverland 2, we have entered the second and final phase of the anime.

Indeed, CloverWorks production appears to have pushed the accelerator End the story of The Promised Neverland with this second season. The The Promised Neverland 2x08 trailer takes us back in time to Norman, in those months between the Grace Field expedition and the moment he met Emma again. In the video below we see Norman in a strange structure, surrounded by darkness and certain rooms. And while Emma and Ray are on their way to find Mujika and Sonju, We also see Peter Ratri for the first time, a tall man with long white hair who is the leader of human enemies.

While they wait for the next episode, ratings for The Promised Neverland 2 continue to drop, and fans are increasingly disappointed with the animated adaptation.
