From the official website for the anime adaptation of the manga, written and illustrated by sousuke took, Ousama Ranking (Ranking of Kings) a new promotional video for the special episode previously announced for the franchise, titled “Yuki no takarabako (Treasure Chest of Courage)”. In this preview, it is revealed that the project will premiere on April 13th on TV in Japan. Although this new project has been treated as a “special episode” since it was first announced, the website states that it will “air every Thursday” from the above date, confirming that the anime would be longer than one episode.
This new preview also reveals the anime’s musical themes. The opening takes over the band PEOPLE 1 and is titled “GOLD”. The final point, however, is the singer Aimer with her single “atemonaku”.
It should be remembered that this project will have several episodes and will present us with a story not seen in the anime adaptation.

Touka started publishing the manga independently through the portal. manga hack and other services in May 2017. Then the publisher Kadokawa began publishing on paper in direct format compiled volumes in February 2019. The work inspired a 23-episode anime adaptation produced by WIT studio and premiered during the season of Autumn-2021 (October-December).
Ousama Ranking Summary
The people of the kingdom despise the young prince Bojji, who can neither hear nor speak. They call him “The Useless Prince” while poking fun at his alleged stupidity. But even if Bojji is not physically strong, he is not weak at heart. When a chance encounter with a creature from the shadows should have traumatized him, she instead leads him to believe that he has found a friend among those who only notice his flaws. He begins meeting Kage the Shadow regularly, to the point that even the otherwise aggressive creature is beginning to warm to him. Kage and Bojji’s unlikely friendship sets the stage for the prince’s journey, one on which he intends to overcome his fears and insecurities. Despite the constant taunts he faces, Bojji is determined to fulfill his desire to become the best king he can be.
