Iron Fist is about to return as the protagonist of a new comic series. This time, however, Danny Rand will not take on the role of protector of K'un-Lun, but a mysterious replacement we first see in action in the Iron Fist #1 previewdue out later this month in the United States.

Danny Rand had to give up Iron Fist's powers to save the world, but that obviously doesn't stop him from continuing his vigilante mission as a "simple" kung fu expert, as revealed in the new Devil's Reign preview.

And we see that in the Preview of Iron Fist #1, released exclusively by CBR, which we share in the gallery below. Danny Rand gets into a fight with some monsters and just as he is about to be overwhelmed, is rescued by the new Iron Fistwhose identity is a mystery at the moment.

Iron Fist will be a five-issue miniseries written by Alyssa Wong and illustrated by Michael-Yg. In the gallery below we also share the cover of the first issue to be published on February 16, 2022 by Jim Cheung.

In 2017, Netflix filmed an Iron Fist-based television series along with other Marvel Netflix series between 2018 and 2019. However, the return of Daredevil has also reignited hopes for Iron Fist.
