Transformations weren’t always a must. The characters of the so-called combat shonen have always been able to draw on an inherent power, but without changing the connotations. Then there was a paradigm shift that was particularly exploited in the 1990s and 2000s where i Protagonists can be transformed.

There is Goku becomes a Super Saiyan To clash with Freeza in one of the most epic Dragon Ball sagas, then Naruto who can exploit the hermit chakra, in Bleach Ichigo is instead conquered by the power of the hollows in certain situations, Luffy can still use many different transformations thanks to the equipment on different ways work, and many others. Today’s battle shonen are full of this peculiarity. But what are they most iconic transformations in the anime world?

In response to a post born on Twitter, various users have spoken out. Some have focused on the transformations of the above characters, especially all of them Transformations of Goku into Super Saiyan or Ultra Instinct. Others, however, cited Eren Jaeger and his newest form, the Founding Giant, but also featured My Hero Academia’s Kirishima and Jojo Vento Aureo’s Gold Experience stand.
