Koharu Sakuraba started publishing the manga through the magazine Weekly young magazine in March 2004, and the publisher Kodansha published the twenty-first anthology in December 2020, followed by the twenty-second in July 2021 in Japan. The piece inspired a thirteen-part anime adaptation produced by the studios. Thumb and released in the Fall 2007 season (October-December).
