A new promotional video for the next OVA project based on the video game franchise was shared on the official Twitter account. otome, Hakuouki. The video confirms that the project will consist of three parts in total, which will be published in advance on the Japanese platform U-FURTHER and later they will be released in Blu-ray / DVD format according to the following schedule:
- Part 1: November 13, 2021 (advance version) / December 24, 2021 (physical version).
- Part 2: December 11, 2021 (advance version) / January 28, 2022 (physical version).
- Part 3: January 29, 2022 (pre-release version) / February 25, 2022 (physical version).
