Official media reported that the franchise film is based on the manga written and illustrated by Negi Haruba, Gotoubun no Hanayome (The quintessence of the quintuplets), has entered the TOP 10 of the weekly earnings ranking with eighth place in its eleventh week of extrapolation. The film, which was released in Japan on May 20, has accumulated 2.15 billion yen (more than $16.44 million) with more than 1.5 million tickets sold4th best-selling film of all of 2022 in Japan so far.
