In our last recap of The Attack of the Giants 4, we expected that The nation of Marley is still owned by four shapeshifters: the tank (Reiner Braun), the giant beast (Zeke Jaeger), the giant jaw (Porco Galliard) and the giant car, whose identity has been mysterious since its first appearance in season 3.
The giant car was featured in the Hajime Isayama manga in 2015 and in the anime in the episode “The City Where It All Began” in 2019. For fans of the anime, the identity of Marley’s giant remained in the shadows for more than a year and a half until the first episode of Attack of the Giants 4 was released, in which his name was revealed: Pieck.
The new episode, which will soon be available on VVVVID and Prime Video, finally shows what the giant’s owner looks like. As you can see below it’s a girl Pieck fingers, very close to Porco Galliard and Marley loyal. In the episode in question Pieck reveals that it has been physically destroyed, normal consequence of prolonged use of his giant, and is shown with a crutch to improve his posture.
With Pieck, practically every owner of the Shapeshifting Giants was revealed, except for one. the giant hammer. Unlike the others, Marley treats the hammer with more respect due to its role in the first war with the Eldians. However, before we know its identity, we have to wait a little longer.
