Summary of Fumetsu no Anata e
An orb, known only as “It”, is shot to Earth for a long distance viewing. Able to change the shape of beings whose reflections it captures, it turns first into a rock, and then, due to the increase in temperature, into moss. He is unable to move until, on a snowy day, a wolf on the verge of death can barely pass. As it takes the form of the animal, it becomes aware of its existence and begins to wander with an unclear destination. Soon he meets the Wolf Master, a young man who is waiting for his tribe to return from a paradise full of fish and fruit in the south. Although the child feels lonely, he still hopes that his loved ones have not forgotten him in his memories and that he will one day be reunited with them.
The boy wants to explore new surroundings and decides to leave his home with “It” in order to find paradise on the trail of his tribe. But what happens to the boy when he has a badly wounded body and cannot see his older comrades? Fumetsu no Anata and illustrates the story of an immortal being who experienced humanity and met all kinds of people in many places over time.
