On the official page for the animated adaptation of the spin-off manga from Neco Kanai, Bungou Stray Dogs Wan!Distribution information for the compiled Blu-ray / DVD volumes has been released, which also confirms that the series will have a total of twelve episodes.
- Volume 1 (episodes 1 to 6) – March 24, 2021.
- Volume 2 (Episodes 7-12) – April 28, 2021.
Prices for the Blu-ray version are 9,900 yen (about $ 95) and the DVD version is 8,800 yen (about $ 84). Its advantages include a picture book, CD dramas and an exclusive pre-sale ticket for a future live event of the franchise.
The series is scheduled to premiere on January 12, 2021 in Japan while the platform Crunchyroll takes care of international sales. For its part, Kanai publishes this comedy spin-off Manga and Tales of Life on the website Young Ass UP from the publisher Kadokawa since December 2015.

- Hiromi daimi ((Re: CREATOR, Jashin-chan dropkick) is responsible for the character design.
- The final theme is played by the character of Atsushi Nakajima (played by) Yuuto Uemura) and will be titled βNamae wo Yobu yo,β which is actually a cover for the final theme of the original series.
Bungou Stray Dogs Synopsis
For weeks the orphanage in which Atsushi Nakajima lives has been plagued by a mystical tiger that only he seems to know. The 18-year-old is suspected of being behind the strange incidents. Suddenly evicted from the orphanage, hungry, homeless and wandering the city.
While Atsushi starves to death on a river bank, he prevents a rather eccentric man named Osamu Dazai from drowning. Dazai is a moody suicide bomber and supernatural detective. He was investigating the same tiger that terrorized the young man. Together with Dazai’s partner Doppo Kunikida, they solve the puzzle, but their solution leaves Atsushi in a difficult situation. As various events unfold, Atsushi is forced to join his company of supernatural investigators and take on unusual cases that the police, along with his many enigmatic co-workers, cannot handle.
