From the official website for the anime adaptation of the manga, written and illustrated by Aki Hamaji, Bocchi the Rock!, it was announced that the project will premiere next October on TV channels in Japan. A new promotional image for the series has also been released, starring Hitori Gotou, Ijichi, Nijika Ijichi, Ryou Yamada and Ikuyo Kita.

Hamaji began publishing the manga through the magazine Manga time Kirara Max from the publisher Houbunsha in December 2017. The publisher released the second anthology in February 2020, followed by the third on February 25, 2021 in Japan. The fourth volume will appear on August 26th.
Synopsis for Bocchi the Rock!
Hitori Gotou is a high school girl who is starting to learn the guitar because she dreams of playing in a band, but she is so shy that she hasn’t made a single boyfriend. However, his dream may come true after he meets Nijika Ijichi, a girl who plays drums and is looking for a new guitarist for her band.
