Via the official website for the project Azure Lanethe first promotional video for the anime adaptation of the spin-off manga was revealed Azur Lane: Bisoku Zenshin!, written by and illustrated by Hori. In addition, it was announced that this series of animated short films will premiere in January 2021.

The first image for the series was also revealed.

Production team

  • Masato Jinbo (Chaos, child) will be responsible for directing the anime in the studios Yostar pictures. Studies will also participate CANDY BOX and Yokohama animation as an aid.
  • Yuu Sato (Kiratto Pri β˜† Chan) writes the series scripts.
  • Hiromitsu Hagiwara (Nozo Γ— Kimi) will be responsible for the characters’ designs
  • Hagiwara and Kengo Saito (SSSS.Gridman) will take command of the cheer team.
  • SHADOW (Miru Tights) composes the soundtrack.
  • There will be two opening themes. One of those topics “Desire for!” is interpreted by Emi Nitta. The other subject “Mahiru-iro Siesta” will be responsible for Yui Sakakibara.

About Azur Lane

The original game was developed by Shanghai Manjuu and Xiamen Yongshiand released for devices iOS and Android in 2017. Subsequently Azur Lane: Crosswave was released for PC via steam in February of this year and a release for the console Nintendo switch in Japan it is planned for September 17th.

The original episode inspired numerous manga and light novel adaptations, as well as a studio-produced twelve-episode anime adaptation. Bibury animation studios, Headed by Tensho and scripts written by Jin Haganeya, published October 2019.
