Whats happening to? Act age has something sensational about it. In the past few days, news of the author’s arrest for indecent acts against a minor has sparked a series of unprecedented reactions. Still, no one could have expected the announcement to come with a disturbing surprise.

In fact, it wasn’t even surprising when Weekly shonen jump confirmed the cancellation of Act Age from the magazine, a decision made in agreement with the designer who was innocent of the uncomfortable situation. Despite the support of the sector’s writers, Shiro Usazaki is torn to pieces after losing his job in just two days. As if that wasn’t enough after the injury the insultas recent financial reports highlighted an unfortunate detail.

In fact, many stores have reported that since August 8th or the day the crime took place, Act Age sales have increased exponentially, increasing the number of manga even within several times Amazon. As if that wasn’t enough, the Japanese comics have confirmed that they will not receive any more volumes, which could increase the rarity of the tankobons.
