Via the official website for the animated adaptation of the adult manga, written and illustrated by Funatsu Kazuki, Tanondemita Dogezathe drafts for all characters in the series were revealed. The names of those who will make up the main part of the voices have also been announced. Some of them play up to 3 characters. There is no release date for the anime yet and it has not been announced which studio will be responsible for its production.

Funatsu started publishing the manga in the magazine Comic walker from the publisher Kadokawa in March 2018. In March 2018 the publisher published a compilation volume.

- Shinpei Nagai ((Danna ga Nani wo Itteiru ka Wakaranai Ken, Inugami-san to Nekoyama-san) is responsible for directing the anime and is also recognized as the animation director.
