Super thieves, the Netflix-produced anime series based on the Mark Millar comic book and drawn by Leinil Francis Yu, received some interesting updates during the TUDUM: A Netflix Global Fan Event. A trailer introduced us to the iconic Johnny Bolt mission and also revealed the show’s release date.
The idea of a final hit led to the formation of the Supercrooks, the criminals who can be quickly spotted in the sequences shown in the video above on the news. At the same time, Netflix and the animation studio Bones presented Johnny and his business colleagues with the breathtaking key visual available below.
Contrary to what was communicated before, the series, available from November 25th on Netflix, will consist of 13 episodes each lasting 30 minutes. The talented team behind the production of the series consists of Motonobu Hori as director, Dai Sato, who oversees the scripts, and Takafumi Mitani, who is responsible for character design. In addition, the two Japanese voice actors are from Johnny and Kasey, Kenjiro Tsuda and Maaya Sakamoto, respectively.
