A new trailer of the project has been released on the official website of the anime adaptation of Yasuki Tanaka’s manga. Daylight Saving Time Rendering. The video features the opening of the series’ first story arc, which features the theme “Hoshi ga Oyogu (The Stars Swim)” and is performed by the band Macaroni Enpitsu.
The first part of the series is scheduled for April 14th on TOKYO MX and BS11 and on Kansai TV. The Walt Disney Company will distribute the series worldwide DisneyPlus. In addition, it is confirmed that the series will have a total of twenty-five episodes, which will be adapted from the entirety of the original manga.
Tanaka began publishing the manga via the Shonen Jump Plus digital service in October 2017. Subsequently, Summer Time Rendering was completed in February 2021, while Shueisha released the thirteenth and final volume of the collection in April 2021 in Japan.
Among the voice actors we find Natsuki Hanae in the role of Shinpei Ajiro, the protagonist who returned to his homeland after two years, Anna Nagase as Ushio Kofune, Shinpei’s childhood friend who died in a mysterious accident, Saho Shirasu as Mio Kofune, Ushio’s younger sister, Youko Hikasa as Hizuru Minakata, who for some reason returns to the island after 14 years.
Jin Urayama is Ginjirou Nezu, a character who pretends to know something about the “shadows”, Kensho Ono is Sou Hishigata, a close friend of Shinpei who was present at Ushio’s accident, and Maki Kawase is Tokiko Hishigata, Sous younger sister it’s close to million
We find staff in production Ayumu Watanabe (children of the seawhen their flag breaks Komi cannot communicate, Uchuu Kyoudai β Brothers in Space), who is directing the anime at OLM Studios. Hiroshi Seko (banana fish, Darling in FranXXXXThe Idaten deities only know peace, Jujutsu Kaisen) is responsible for writing and supervising the screenplays.
Miki Matsumoto (Major 2nd (TV) 2nd Season, Angels of Death) is responsible for character design. Keiichi Okabe, Ryuichi Takada and Keigo Hoashi are responsible for composing the soundtrack at MONACA Studios.
