DC Comics has proposed one of the most popular cinecomics of the past few years in 2021. Despite The Suicide Squad’s disappointing results, fans were more than delighted with the film and its characters, and it’s no surprise then that DC Comics chose to do so Suggest one of the movie’s plot points in comics as well.
In The Suicide Squad, a lot of emphasis is placed on Rivalry between Idris Elbas Bloodsport and John Cenas Peacemakerwho will soon be the protagonist of his own series. The film, directed by James Gunn, emphasizes that the two characters have the same skills and excel equally in the field of assassinations.
The end of the movie looked straight a confrontation between Peacemaker and Bloodsport, since the former was hired by Amanda Waller to prevent the US government from being exposed to the world in the Starro experiments.
Given the appreciation of the fans, DC Comics has considered it appropriate to reproduce the rivalry between Peacemaker and Bloodshot in the comics as well: in Suicide Squad # 11, written by Robbie Thompson and illustrated by Eduardo Pansica and Julio Ferreira, We will witness the clash between the two characters. The preview published by DC Comics lets us see that the fight is reversed compared to the movie: in fact, it’s Bloodsport who is paid for by Amanda Waller this time around.
