Joe Quesada, historic Marvel designer and Editor-in-Chief of the House of Ideas from 2000 to 2010, annoyed Marvel fans by revealing a project he is working onwhich is expected to come to light in the course of 2022. The announcement was accompanied by an illustration starring Captain America and Black Panther.

Obviously, everything is pretty vague right now: the illustration with Captain America and Black Panther doesn’t offer great ideas, and the description is as general as possible. That didn’t stop fans from starting theories, however. Quesada denied the hypothesis that it could be the new Miracleman series expected by Marvel to appear on the Timeless # 1 pages, while Quesada when asked by a fan who asked the illustrator if he was interested in the relationship between Peter Parker and Mary Jane answered “Nope!“.
The fan was obviously referring to the Quesada-illustrated Spider-Man story from 2007 called One More Day, which was one of the inspirations for No Way Home and in which Peter Parker made a deal with the devil to make the world forget his secret identity to let expense of his marriage to Mary Jane.
Quesada has promised new advances in the coming months, so we look forward to new updates.
