We looked at many articles from the Studio Ghibli decorating our rooms over the years, but we never thought of bringing the scent of Studio Ghibli into our homes.
But thanks to the release of one new collection of stick diffusers and aromatic LED gel lights that capture the atmosphere of two of the studio’s most popular films that we can finally fill our homes withAroma from Stduio Ghibli.
The two films to which these collections are dedicated are Laputa – castle in the sky and Howl’s Moving Castle. The new products are packaged in beautiful Studio Ghibli-themed boxes. The two reed diffusers are beautifully decorated with a picture of the main characters Sheeta and Pazu about the design of the bottle dedicated to Laputa and the main characters Howl and Sophie over the loudspeaker dedicated to Howl’s Errate Castle.
If you’ve ever wondered what Howl’s Moving Castle perfume smells like, it is one sweet berry mix. The fruity scent is inspired by the fields that were seen in the film during Howl’s and Sophie’s trips to the Moving Castle. What about the castle in the sky? This magical land of fantasy smells like fresh soap, and is said to be inspired by the scene in which Pazu first meets the newly awakened Sheeta.
Aromatic LED gel lights are especially magical as they are designed to envelop you in the “warm light and scents” of movies. Just push the button at the bottom of the light to turn it on and the heat generated by the lamp inside will heat the gel and release its scent to the room. The light from Laputa again – Castle in the Sky smells like soapwhile the variety of Hwol’s Moving Castle is fullersweet and sour berry aroma.
Howl’s lamp is particularly beautiful, as the design shows The latter with spoon-shaped hands so that it appears as if Calcifer, the fire demon, is burning in his palms. Both the diffusers and gel lights are filled with dried flowers and other decorative items that go with their scents so that they not only smell good, but look good too.
Reed diffusers cost 3,300 yen (25.50 euros) each, while aromatic LED gel lights at 3,520 yen (27 euros), and both are available in Donguri Kyowakoku stores and online.
