During a frame from the latest episode of The Simpsons, the most disrespectful yellow family in the United States has honored the Studio Ghibli. The episode, which again emphasizes the respect for Japanese manga, showed the protagonists of My Neighbor Totoro.
As a result, Homer and Marge Simpson try to befriend the comic book man and his wife Kumiko, a professional manga artist. The focus of the events is the comparison between the life of married couples with daughters and the life of married couples without children.
