As previously announced, Disney will have the release date of during Anime Expo Lite 2021. announced Star Wars: Vision, Anthology of animated short films coming to the US multinational’s streaming platform.

A long trailer that you can see at the end of the article announced that Star Wars: Vision would be coming to Disney + next September 22nd. This first approach to George Lucas’ work with the world of anime was made in collaboration with seven animation studios that fans have already appreciated. As invaluable support for the anthology of Star Wars animated short films, we find Studio Trigger, Sciene Saru and Colorido, among others.

This new anthology series will consist of a number of new stories set within the narrative universe of Star Wars, each of which is ready to share the world of Jedi and Empire with one Approach and a different style.

“As the first formal adventure into the anime world, each Star Wars: Vision short film will bring a unique Japanese sensibility that is in many ways the spirit and tone of Star Wars. From the beginning, the stories of the galaxy have been influenced and incorporated into Japanese mythology and the films of Akira Kurosawas. These new visions will further explore this cultural heritage through the unique animation style and perspective of each anime studio.
