The Tokyo 2020 Olympics has several goodies for anime and manga fans. The opening ceremony was dominated by the OSTs of the best video game sagas, while the sports competitions were dominated by Opening of several anime series.

For example, the Japanese volleyball team’s points were celebrated with the opening of Haikyuu, while the soundtrack of The Attack of the Giants took over the archery competition. As for that basketball, it was slam dunk that dominated the scene.

Takehiko Inoue’s Spokon, arguably the most popular of the genre, accompanied the entry of the Japanese women’s basketball team onto the field. As you can see from the tweet below, the notes are the icon Kimi Ga Suki from to Sakebitai, the opening of the anime, introduced players to the field.
