Summary of Rikei ga Koi ni Ochita no de Shoumei Shitemita
It is widely believed that science can provide rational explanations for the myriad of phenomena in our universe. However, there are many aspects of our existence that science has not yet found a solution to and that cannot be deciphered with numbers. The most notorious of these is the concept of love. Although it seems impossible to apply scientific theories to such a complicated and complex emotion, two daring scientists from Saitama University are trying to rise to the challenge.
One day, the brave and beautiful Ayame Himuro declares outwardly that she is in love with Shinya Yukimura, her logical and objective scientist partner. Yukimura acknowledges his own lack of experience with romance and questions what factors make love in the first place and whether he is in love with Himuro or not. Both have no clue about their love affairs and begin to conduct detailed experiments with each other to test the human characteristics that indicate love and to see if they show these characteristics towards one another. While Himuro and Yukimura begin their intimate analysis, can the two scientists, with the help of their friends, successfully apply scientific theory to quantify the feelings they express for one another?
