We announced that beforehand Shingeki no Kyojin: The Final Season (attack on Titan), will have a third and final part that would complete the adaptation of the original work hajime isayamaand which in turn would be split into two parts that would be released at different times this year.
In a recent statement, Studies MAPPA reports again that the premiere of the first part is scheduled for the next March 3, 2023 in Japan, but now they’ve added that it will be an hour-long special (including advertising), that is, an episode of prolonged duration.
In addition, there will be specials in Japan from February 25th to 27th, compiling key moments from the 87 episodes of the franchise that have aired to date. Next to, The second and last part of this last part of the last season keeps its premiere for some time this yearbut it’s not yet confirmed if it will be a series or another longer-running special.

The final season’s anime adaptation has accumulated a total of twenty-eight episodes to date, sixteen of which aired in the season Winter 2021 (January-March) and the other twelve exhibited in Winter 2022 (January-March). For his part hajime isayama began publishing the manga in the magazine Bessatsu Shonen Magazine from the publisher kodansha in September 2009 and completed it in April 2021, the work being compiled into thirty-four volumes in all.
