Via the official website for the anime adaptation of the light novels, written by Shotou Shinkou and illustrated by Huuka kazabana, Shikkakumon no Saikyou Kenja (The strongest sage with the weakest coat of arms), the first promotional video of the project was shared. In addition, it was announced that the series will premiere in January 2022 and that the platform will take over broadcasting in the west Crispy roll.

Shoutou Shinku began publishing the light novels through the publisher Self-service creative in December 2016 with illustrations by Huuka kazabana. The publisher published the 13th volume on March 11th in Japan. A manga adaptation of the hand of Kansho and Hyoko is published on the website Manga up! from the publisher Square enix since May 2017. The publisher published its 16th anthology on September 10th in Japan.
