During a special broadcast for the franchise based on the manga written and illustrated by Soumatou, Shadow house, the production of a second season of the anime adaptation has been announced. The event also featured a promotional video with new animation sequences.
The creative group Soumatou published an animation sequence in the style Flip books to celebrate the news, noting that during the first season (when they were overseeing the scripts) they had been assured that there would only be one season for the anime. Soumatou He added that a new season means they’ll have to re-monitor the scripts as they keep releasing the manga, but they vowed to do their best.
The first season aired in Japan during the spring 2021 season (April-June), with thirteen episodes and with the platform Funimation responsible for sales in the west.
