Somatos horror manga Shadow house recently featured in a fascinating promotional video confirming its release over the course of 2021 and 2021 Presentation of a very high-level production team, with CloverWorks (The Promised Neverland) doing animations and the great Akari Kito (Nezuko in Demon Slayer) in the role of one of the protagonists.

The anime adaptation of Shadow House was announced last October, and today many details were finally revealed and the first pictures showed. Kazuki Ohashi directs the series CloverWorkswhile Toshiya Ono (former writer of The Promised Neverland and Blue Exorcist) is in charge of the script. After all, Chizuko Kusakabe (Pumpkin scissors, Trouble Chocolate) draws the characters and the master Kenichiro Suehiro (Cells at Work!, Golden Kamui, Fire Force, Re: Zero) composes the music.

The Shadow House anime comes from the manga of the same name, created by the duo of authors Somato (stylized So-Ma-To) and is currently serialized on the pages of Weekly Young Jump with six volumes published. The reviews are extremely positiveand it is one of the few Japanese horror fantasies made in western style and available in color.

The trailer visible below expects a very pronounced dark atmosphere with an “English” take that is also broken in the original soundtrack. The protagonist Emilyko is played by Yu Sasahara (Salsa in Lapis Re: Lights, Yuki Kuroiwa in Houkago Teibou Nisshi), during Akari Kito (Nezuko in Demon Slayer, Tsukasa in Tonikawa, Suzune Horikita in the Elite Classroom) co-star Kate Shadow-sama wears.
