Masami Kurumada’s Masterpiece, Saint Seiya: The Knights of the Zodiac, is a timeless masterpiece, a series that helped make Weekly Shonen Jump magazine’s story great. Contrary to popular belief, the adventures of Pegasus have continued for years in its direct sequel.
Unfortunately, Next Dimension’s release has been very erratic and the story has evolved little or not at all over the years, yet the work remains an icon of the Japanese cultural landscape, still appealing to a community of millions of fans from around the world delighted the whole world.
This popularity has helped increase Saint Seiya-themed merchandise year on year, with dozens of limited edition items being released each year. In this regard, the last of them is made through Zodiaco’s Studio who has created an epic scale model that brings back one of the Golden Knights so dear to the saga, Shaka the Maiden. The figurine in question, which you can admire at the bottom of the news, is available in three different variants, proposed at as many different prices: 670, 870 and 1650 euros.
The prices are certainly not very cheap, but they attest to the incredible attention to detail of the statuettes by Zodiako’s studio. The models won’t arrive any time soon, however, with deliveries expected between the end of the third and the beginning of the four-month period in 2022.
