The February 2021 issue of Akita Shoten's Champion RED magazine recently revealed that the next volume, slated for January 19, will also feature a special chapter in the series. Saint Seiya: The Lost Canvas - Meio Shinwa, of course by the original author Shiori Teshirogi.

The series signed by Teshirogi is a spin-off of the story of the master Masami Kurumada, who launched the adventures of Seiya, which began in 1986, and managed to win over many fans of the opera from 2006 to 2011. 250 years earlier than the events of the original seriesMeio Shinwa is particularly focused on the friendship between Tenma and Alone, namely the previous incarnations of the characters of Pegasus and Hades, the deadly enemies in the Knights of the Zodiac.

After graduating in 2011, Teshirogi started working on Saint Seiya Meio Shinwa Gaiden, published in Weekly Shonen Champion, which ended in 2016 and has 16 total volumes. Unfortunately, the specific chapter was only presented with the image you can find below and no further details have been revealed. However, in the same edition of Champion RED you will also find the new chapter of the spin-off series Saint Seiya Meioiedn Dark Wingby Kenji Saito and Shinshu Ueda.

We remind you that two action figures were presented dedicated to Seiya and leave to an interesting comparison between the Italian names and the original names of the Knights of the Zodiac.
