In 2019, Netflix surprised fans of the work of Sensei Masami Kurumada with an anime re-release of The Knights of the Zodiac. Two years later, this 3DCG adventure will soon be continued with the second part, but this time further crispy roll.

In a press release, Crunchyroll and TOEI Animation announced that Saint Seiya: Knights of the Zodiac will continue with its second season, titled Battle for Sanctuary. The series will come streamed worldwide from Crunchyroll already this summer. A more precise date is not yet known. Here are the other titles in Crunchyroll’s summer lineup.

Saint Seiya: Knights of the Zodiac – Battle for the Sanctuary will continue the anime from where it left Netflix viewers. During the first two parts, which aired between 2019 and 2020, fans witnessed the arcs of the Galactic War, the clash with the Black Knights and the Silver Knights. Pegasus and companions arrived at the Great Temple along with Lady Isabel, the goddess Athena. A conspiracy of the high priest Arles brings i bronze knights against the twelve golden knights. So in this second season we will see the rise and battle of the twelve houses. Lady Isabel is in mortal danger, struck by a deadly arrow that has pierced her heart, and the knights have only twelve hours to defeat the enemies and save her life.
