Season 2 of Re: Zero exceeded expectations and had considerable success, which was partially predictable given a prequel that went viral online. The user Step Vollachie, a familiar face for the franchise as he loves to share behind the scenes with author Nagatsuki, is back to talk about the saga’s future.
In fact, a few days ago, the user revealed some information pertaining to a private event that the Sansei attended. During that event, the novel’s writer would have revealed that the anime adaptation of the story is completely complete it would last 8 seasons with 25 episodes. Obviously, these are just words without confirmation from the manufacturers who have the final say on this matter. All of this without taking into account the current trend of adapting entire legends through the film format. What seems certain, however, is that the anime Re: Zero will continue at least with a third season, although the official announcement is still too late.
