Gensho Yasudaa popular independent anime artist with over 2.5 million followers on TikTok, has released his first anime feature film project. make a girlwhich is scheduled to hit theaters in Japan in summer 2024.








The feature film is based on his independent short film in 3DCG animation, make lovePremiered February 8, 2020. The 150-second short film was selected as the winning work at the 29th CG Animation Contest of the year, the oldest CG animation competition in Japan. make a girlwhich is made entirely in 3DCG in 2D anime style, tells a story revolving around the main character Akira and his scientifically created girlfriend #0.
The planned projection time is 90 minutes. Yasuda serves as director/writer and Yasuda Gensho Studio by Xenotoona 3D studio co-developed by Yasuda and a Tokyo studio, xenotonShe is collaborating in the production of the anime. Yasuda founded this studio in 2021 after working as a CG animator for nitroplus. His short standalone animations created in Blender are popular on Twitter and TikTok.
The fundraising campaign for its realization starts on the largest crowdfunding site in Japan, CAMPFIRE, on August 26 at noon (Japan time) and ends on October 31 at 23:59. Her goal is to raise at least 10 million yen (about US$73,000). Crowdfunding rewards include credits for videos posted to Yasuda’s TikTok account, web credits, credits for films, and a collection of storyboards, scripts, and setting materials signed by the director, as well as a newly illustrated t-shirt and Acrylic art by Yasuda.
