Ash’s journey, which has unfolded over the course of 25 years, comes to an end with the final episodes of Pokemon: Strive to become a Pokémon Master. The farewell to the young Biancavilla trainer also corresponds to the final farewell to Team Rocket, the group made up of Jessie, James and Meowth, who have always planned to steal the protagonist’s precious Pikachu.

In recent seasons, the Team Rocket trio has played a marginal role, giving the team much more space Travel, quests and challenges faced by Ash Ketchumand in Pokémon: Explorations, also by co-star Goh. However, the fast-paced sequences in which they appeared were still appreciated by the historical fans of the series, but it seems the time has come for them to abandon the anime as well.

The latest episode of Pokémon: Aim to Be a Pokémon Master didn’t just include a tribute to her Jessie, James, Meowth and Wobbuffet, but also to all the other little monsters that have been part of the party throughout the many seasons of the anime and in every region of the vast Pokémon universe explored so far. From the unforgettable Weezing and Arbok to Mimikyu, which also drives through beautiful Cacnea, the video represents one nostalgic tribute to Team Rocket history.

Let us know what you think of this special farewell to Team Rocket in the comments. Finally, we remind you that one of the producers of the series has revealed the real meaning of Pokémon: aim to be a Pokémon master and we leave you all the Pokémon caught by Jessie and James in the series.
