The launch of the next-gen Pokémon game, titled Arceus Legends, coincides with a series of episodes in the anime series that place the original creature at the center of events. This Pokémon Explorations mini-arc will see the return of one of Ash’s Comapgno, as well as the villains of the saga.
Released January 28th on Nintendo Switch, Pokémon Legends: Arceus takes players to the Sinnoh of the past. Meanwhile, the anime series will also make the leap to the region on which the fourth generation is based.
To celebrate this big news, Pokémon Expeditions is launching one dedicated to short saga. In the next dates with the anime, we will see the return of popular characters like Brock as well as the historical antagonists of Ash. Jessie and James from Team Rocket.
As anticipated in the preview frame posted by Twitter user @AnipokeFandom, the two criminals will try as usual steal the legendary protagonist’s Pikachu. Will they manage to cause big trouble this time, or will they be defeated again?
Team Rocket villains will attack Flower decoration course by Erika, the Kanto Gym Leader who returns in Episode 94 of Pokémon Explorations. For the occasion, they will revolutionize their look by wearing clothes that evoke the Japanese past, just like the video game Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
