Born as a Game Boy video game, Pokémon has managed to enchant entire generations of young people thanks to the trading card game. Let’s see together the work of an enthusiast made with one of the maps above.
The images are certainly one of the strengths of the Trading card game This also applies to the Pokémon brand, which has attracted many fans since the late nineties, thanks to images that are always different and more beautiful than the others. The only flaw is to have the drawing tied to a narrow space at the top of the map.
To solve this problem, several artists have recently started expanding the illustration by adding numerous details to the rest of the card itself. Such is the case of TikTok user @bumblpaints showing off his work by in a video reported at the bottom of this news item Expansion of the setting where one is Squirtle of the Sun & Moon – Expansion by Team Up.
When we look at the video, we notice how the work is first created by covering the paper with gray and then using the brushes to die hidden parts of the landscape. The result is impressive, at the end of the work it is almost impossible to determine where the original illustration ends and where the painting painted by the fan begins.
The artist later revealed that his work is the result of numerous trial and error. He, too, knew that he had Intention to take commissions from the month of May in which he opened a shop on Etsy.
