The series has been on the air in Japan since October 14th and will be confirmed with a total of 23 episodes while the platform Funimation is responsible for the distribution of the animation project in the west. Ousama ranking synopsis

The story revolves around Bojji, a weak and deaf prince who cannot even hold a child’s sword. As the firstborn, he maintains his enormous desire to become the most powerful king in the world. However, the people around him relate to him disparagingly and have no intention of accepting him as king. Bojji gets his first friend named Kage (shadow), literally a shadow on the ground that Bojji can somehow understand.
