One-Punch Man returns with the readjustment by Yusuke Murata published on Tonari no Young Jump. The work of the well-known mangaka from Eyeshield 21 is still grappling with an important battle against the cadres that seems unstoppable.
The Chapter 144 of One-Punch Man it is called “The Planets – Jupiter, the Bringer of Merriment”, the name of a symphony by Gustav Holst. Bang, Genos and Bomb watch the sky full of bright spots that chase Tatsumaki. These energy balls are created by a homeless emperor who wants to defeat the psychic heroine. The attacks are directed as if the cadres were an orchestra conductor, with scenes full of flashes of light and chiaroscuro.
Tatsumaki manages to evade the attacks and is close to his sister Fubuki’s group. The latter is afraid of seeing her sister so exhausted and wants to keep her from getting back into the game considering she might be on the sidelines. However, Fubuki cannot hold them back and after a short dialogue, Fubuki returns to the cadres. Genos, who has recovered thanks to Fubuki’s intervention, sets out to help the second heroine. Bang also goes into the combat zone when he leaves Fubuki in Bomb’s hands.
in the meantime Gum and Fuhrer Ugly overwhelm Sosshi, Pig God and Tank Top Master. The downside seems obvious and the three hit until Pig God manages to save Sosshi and the others and escape the area. Only Tank Top Master is still trying to take on Fuhrer Ugly, but the cadres seem to be on a higher level and not even Tatsumaki’s intervention seems enough to stop him.
Tank Top Master is massacred and the last page of One-Punch Man 144 suggests a bad fate for Tatsumaki too. Will the two heroes be saved in time?
