Every ONE PIECE volume brings pleasant surprises, revelations and anecdotes inherent in the imposing images of Eiichiro Oda. In the past few months the author has hit 100 tankobons published, but have you ever wondered which cover is your favorite?
In fact, in volume 101 of ONE PIECE, the Sensei answered a few questions from the readers in the usual question-and-answer angle. In order to promote the publication of the Tankobon and the 13th edition of the themed magazine, the media editor of Eiichiro Oda, TakanoHe appeared on TV to cover the series and to reveal some curiosities about the pirate epic Weekly Shonen JUmp.
In particular, the head of the media department at ONE PIECE he took the opportunity to reveal to the audience what the Sensei’s favorite cover of the more than 100 drawn bands is. Takano thus stated that the Oda’s favorite cover is that for issue 53, the same that you can continue with Luffy and Boa Hancock at the end of the news. The reason for this choice is that the Mugiwara in the previous volume had only just split up and that just the new adventure of Luffy had actually reminded him of the events of the first Tankobon.
