During the weekly manga release, a mangaka must be able to draw nearly two dozen pages. Normally 19, for a given author the number drops to 17, as is the case with Eiichiro Oda, who publishes chapters of ONE PIECE with fewer pages than the other manga in the magazine, sometimes even up to 15 pages.

However, Eiichiro Oda’s routine remains suffocating considering the amazing work a mangaka must do to deliver the final spreadsheets to the editors almost non-stop every week. So it can happen now and then that something gets distracted, something bad design or a missing detail, but also a directorial approach that isn’t at its best. And therefore there are some differences between the edition of the magazine chapters and those presented on tankobon.

This also happened with Volume 105 of ONE PIECE, which had several corrections made to the chapters. However, there are three that should not be underestimated. Collected from Artur and other accounts dedicated to the world of Eiichiro Oda, the concerns first of all the position of the kingdom of Lulusia, Im-sama’s destination, which is no longer on the first part of the Grand Line but in the New World. The second is the presence of a Burn scar on O-Tsuru’s facepartially covered by a bandage. Finally, the third corrected error concerns the Seraphim of Kuma Bartholomew who, like the others, gains white hair due to the presence of Lunar blood.

Did you notice these errors back when the weekly chapters were released on Manga Plus?
