In the wide universe of ONE PIECE, conceived by Eiichiro Oda, features hundreds, if not thousands, of extremely powerful characters. During the adventure of the Straw Hat Pirates, we got acquainted with several, and considering recent and very important events, we decided to present the ten strongest pirates of the moment.

The list, which is made in no particular order and which we will present, excludes characters considered to be very powerful but not seen much of them, such as: Monkey D. DragonCommander-in-Chief of the Revolutionary Army, Admiral Ryokugyu, Rocks D. Xebec or Im. Monkey D. Luffy, who pursues his dream of becoming the Pirate King, has undoubtedly become one of the strongest and most dangerous pirates in the world, especially after the upgrade shown in the Final phase of the Onigashima War.

Shanks the Red, Marshall D. Teach aka Blackbeard, Big Mom and Kaido were inevitably among the best pirates in the world as all four achieved the title of Emperor. Thinking back to the emperors of the past, Whitebeard, Edward Newgate, certainly represented one of the most important figures on the Grand Line and headed one of the greatest crews in history.

Of course, that shouldn't be missing Aim D Roger, the only one to become the Pirate King, ushering in the era of piracy on his deathbed. Then we find Drakul Mihawk, a member of the now defunct Fleet of Seven who was awarded the title of the best swordsman in the world, as well as Roronoa Zoro's teacher during the time warp.

Speaking of the institutions that administer the world order, the Grand Admiral of the Navy Akainu proved extremely powerful and ferocious in the Marineford arc. Finally we find Kozuki Oden, the legendary samurai of Wano who has won many fans through a flashback showing his journey first alongside Whitebeard and then aboard Rogers Oro Jackson.
