Few titles enjoy the success, longevity, and exceptional popularity of ONE PIECE. Eiichiro Oda’s masterpiece has passed the 1,000-chapter threshold for several months and the Sensei is currently orchestrating the story in anticipation of the grand finale of Wano’s War.
As for the anime front, however, we will have the opportunity to use theEpisode 1000 of ONE PIECE? For now TOEI animation adapts the chapters of the manga very calmly and each episode covers roughly a percentage between 50 and 70% of each chapter, a narrative extension largely dictated by the need not to overlap the deadlines of the television series too much with those of the newspaper Counterpart.
However, the studio has currently not only scheduled the next 4 episodes of ONE PIECE, but also the date on which we should see No. 1000. The Tokyo Marathone website has actually confirmed again that the special event on Fuji TV will fall on October 17th, and consequently episode 996 of ONE PIECE will be postponed for a week. So if there are no further references, we’ll see Episode 1000 on November 21, 2021. We don’t know which chapter will be adjusted, probably 989, as the next few parts will adjust chapters 975 and 976.
