Eiichiro Oda layered his own narrative universe by creating various mysteries in ONE PIECE. Readers are almost at the beginning of the final phase, but so many of them are not yet resolved. One of these important mysteries is the meaning of the D, a letter charged with an unknown meaning that very few have. Perhaps it is one of the secrets that is only solved in Laugh Tale, as the characters who have it in their name are unaware of their origins or fate or what binds them together. What are the Characters who previously had the D in ONE PIECE? Five of these characters are alive:
- Monkey D. Luffy;
- Monkey D. dragon;
- Monkey D. Garp;
- Marshall D. Teach, also known as Blackbeard;
- Trafalgar D. Water Law.
Five characters who will irreparably make history from here into the near future. Five others died instead:
- Target D. Roger;
- Jaguar D. Saul;
- Portuguese D. Rouge;
- Portuguese D. Ace;
- Rock D. Xebec.
In short, the D in the name are characters of significant caliber, with only Rouge playing a very withdrawn role in the history of ONE PIECE. What other characters could be with the D in the name? Certainly the mysterious Im-sama is one of the possible candidates, as well as one of the five stars of wisdom, even if it must be said that the Clan des D appears to be in stark contrast to the elements at the head of world government.
