The anime of ONE PIECE recently introduced many new characters to the Kaido group. Numbers, Tobi Roppo, and many others have appeared in the episodes, making the Emperor of the Hundred Beasts crew even more menacing. But there are some other very ambiguous figures wandering around the island.
While Luffy collided with Ulti, Yamato, Kaido’s son, made an electrifying appearance that hit Tobi Roppo and saved the protagonist of ONE PIECE from a tough and exhausting fight. In a long Japanese-style dress and a mask that covers his face, Yamato takes Luffy with him and the two are hiding in one of Onigashima’s attics.
As the ONE PIECE 992 trailer already revealed, the two start a discussion in which Yamato drops his mask, shows who you are. Yamato is actually a woman, not a man, as appeared in previous speeches, and she is determined to keep Oden Kozuki’s will alive. It seems like a good addition to the group of protagonists, as he doesn’t want to face Kaido, at least based on what we’ve seen so far.
